Niemand kan het ‘Vioolconcerto’ van Max Bruch weerstaan. Toch?
Augustin Hadelich verwent je met het heerlijke 'Eerste vioolconcerto' van Max Bruch. Al stond de Duitse romantische componist zijn leven lang in de schaduw van Brahms, dit werk was meteen razend populair. Telkens weer wilden violisten dat ene concerto spelen, tot frustratie van Bruch, die nog veel meer in zijn mars had. Ach, wie kan nu ook het passionele, lyrische concerto weerstaan? Marc Albrecht leidt het orkest ook door drie werken van Richard Strauss. En zo wordt dit een niet te missen avond die bulkt van romantische pracht en symfonische bravoure.
