Cloakroom & lockers

The Music Centre has both a supervised cloakroom and lockers. Use of the cloakroom and lockers is free of charge. For fire safety reasons, you are not permitted to bring coats or bags into the historic auditoriums during performances.

Secure cloakroom

There is a large cloakroom in the former 13th-century hospital chapel next to the Concert Hall. It is usually open during concerts in the Concert Hall. Coats are looked after by a cloakroom attendant. The cloakroom closes 30 minutes after the concert ends, so please collect your belongings in good time. Use of the cloakroom is free of charge.

Lockers

The music centre has two signposted locker areas: in the corridor between the Concert Hall and the Kraakhuis, and on the basement level where the toilets are located. You can store your belongings there under lock and key.

Mandatory?

For fire safety reasons, it is not permitted to place loose coats and bags on the floor or on the seats in the historic halls. The halls must be able to be evacuated very quickly in the event of a fire.  Seats that do not fold away or loose objects on the floor could then cost lives.

Still worried about getting cold? Feel free to keep an extra jacket on; as long as it doesn’t end up on a seat or in the aisle, that’s fine.
