Op zaterdag 10 april 2027 komt handpanartiest Malte Marten naar Gent voor een bijzonder liveconcert, samen met percussionist Conrado Molina en multi-instrumentalist Bummela.

Malte Marten is wereldwijd bekend om zijn warme, geïmproviseerde handpanmuziek. Miljoenen mensen ontdekten zijn muziek online, waar zijn video’s een gevoel van rust, schoonheid en verbinding brengen. Live krijgt die ervaring nog meer diepte: de muziek ontstaat in het moment, gedragen door de muzikanten en de sfeer in de zaal.

For this concert, Malte is joined by two musicians who bring extra depth and colour to his sound. Conrado Molina, known for his collaboration with Estas Tonne, adds organic percussion inspired by different musical traditions. His rhythms bring movement, grounding and a vibrant pulse to the music.

Bummela, multi-instrumentalist and producer, completes the trio with atmospheric layers and subtle soundscapes. As producer of Malte Marten’s 2024 album An Ode to the Moon, he knows Malte’s musical language deeply and helps shape the concert into a rich and immersive whole.

Together, they create an evening that is both relaxing and alive — a musical journey with handpan, percussion and warm, cinematic soundscapes. At times meditative and spacious, at times rhythmic and uplifting, this concert invites you to slow down, listen deeply and be carried by the music.
