What are the rates for using the venues?
Given the wide range of options and venues available, we always provide bespoke quotes. Rates depend on the type of event (number of expected visitors, number of rooms and foyers, catering, venue attendants, cloakroom, etc.). In addition, separate rates apply for socio-cultural associations and non-profit organisations.

Can De Bijloke organise my event from start to finish?
Yes, based on your wishes and needs, we will put together the full programme and take care of your event from start to finish. You can also request quotes and information via zaalverhuur@debijloke.be
What equipment is included in the venue hire price?
De Bijloke is one of the largest concert halls in Ghent and boasts extensive, professional technical facilities (sound systems, theatre lighting, projectors, screens, etc.) and a highly skilled team of technicians. Use of this equipment is included in the hire price.
Naturally, the final price also depends on the required staffing of the technical team and any additional equipment hired, should your event require it. You can find our technical information sheets on our venue pages.
Can I bring my own caterer?
We work exclusively with in-house caterers who can provide catering to suit every taste and budget. They know the venue inside out and are therefore best placed to meet your requirements.
Is there free Wi-Fi?
The music centre is equipped with a fast and reliable Wi-Fi network. This is available to the public.
Can I use my own staff?
Depending on the type of activity, we always deploy our own venue staff and technicians. Our team of technicians, venue attendants, cloakroom staff, etc. is best suited to ensure your event runs smoothly and hassle-free. We leave the task of welcoming your guests entirely to you.
Is the music centre easy to reach?
Yes, thanks to the extensive public transport network and the proximity (800 m) of Gent-Sint-Pieters station, our venue is quick and easy to reach. Those arriving by car can park in nearby streets or city centre car parks. You can find more information about accessibility here.
Can I organise a concert at De Bijloke?
Absolutely. Our concert halls and technical facilities are ideal for all kinds of performances. And on request, we can also put together your ideal musical programme.
Can I organise an event in the courtyard?
The courtyard of the Bijloke site is the property of the City of Ghent. Muziekcentrum De Bijloke cannot issue permits or licences for the courtyard. Applications must be made through the city authorities.
