With a deferred ticket from Applaus!, everyone gets the chance to experience culture.
Because sometimes things don’t fall into place at the right time, and a
night out isn’t a given, even if you’re in the mood for it. Attending a concert, taking a break from everyday worries, letting the music wash over you and simply enjoying yourself. You can do it at your own pace and when it suits you.
What is Applaus?
Applaus! is a project by Enchanté vzw in which Muziekcentrum De Bijloke, together with 16 other cultural venues in Ghent, throws open its doors. This allows everyone in Ghent to enjoy culture, discover new places and have unique experiences.
We invite people to meet one another through culture. It makes it easy to go out together, or to treat someone else to a cultural outing. Perhaps you know someone who could do with that. A friend, neighbour or family member who wants to escape the daily routine for a while. You can plan an evening out together, or pass on a ticket so they can choose when it suits them.
At De Bijloke, we offer two concerts per term. You’ll find an overview at the bottom of this page.

You can book in whichever way is most convenient for you

- All the concerts we offer with deferred tickets are listed below
- Go to the concert you wish to attend by clicking on ‘tickets’
- Select the ticket type ‘deferred ticket – enchanté’ and proceed with the booking process.

Since 2018, Enchanté has been fostering solidarity by facilitating positive encounters. Through a variety of projects, people are brought together around small and large gestures of care and attention.
Together with residents, schools, businesses, organisations and local authorities, Enchanté is growing into a network that strengthens community spirit. In this way, we work together to care for those who are struggling, and solidarity takes on a tangible role in the daily life of our city.
