The Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet, founded in Amsterdam in 2019, unites four international musicians studying with Arno Bornkamp at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Prize-winners at competitions in Portugal, Italy, and the Netherlands, they perform in major venues such as the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, and TivoliVredenburg, and appear regularly on Dutch radio, television, and festivals. Blending their diverse backgrounds, they bring fresh energy to chamber music while championing the saxophone in today’s and tomorrow’s repertoire.
