Bachcantates + hedendaagse dans = een tijdloze choreografie van torment en hunkering

Wat gebeurt er als je de black box van Bachs dialoogcantates opent? In ‘Torment of Hearts’ grijpen choreografe Femke Gyselinck, GRIP en B'Rock Orchestra de kans om te luistervinken bij het spirituele heen-en-weer tussen hemel en aarde. Met muziek als ultieme lingua franca doorkruisen ze tijdperken van barok tot heden, telkens met hun eigen taal van eenzaamheid en verlangen. In deze intieme voorstelling zoeken drie dansers, twee zangers en zeven musici naar wat mensen verbindt over eeuwen en generaties heen.

Dit concert maakt geen deel uit van het abonnement of het Vrienden-lidmaatschap.
