The multidisciplinary project GROUND ZERO /51.04536/3.71609 takes shape in a three-month residency at KIOSK Gent by visual artist Leen Van Tichelen, performer Fanny Vandesande, composer Esther Coorevits, and word artist Jonas Bruyneel. This project questions and reworks both personal artistic boundaries and those of the various disciplines into a dynamic, site-specific methodology.

GROUND ZERO refers to the starting point of a specific inquiry between the disciplines of image, word, movement, and sound, and the relationship this generates with the surrounding environment. The coordinates refer to the exact location of the performance.

KIOSK Gent / KASK & Conservatorium

KASK & Conservatorium presenteert muziek en beeldende kunst van studenten op het open grasveld van de Bijlokesite. Zes uiteenlopende installaties vormen samen een tijdelijk landschap gedurende de volledige Bijloke Wonderland periode. Op zaterdag 30 en zondag 31 augustus is er als afsluiter een muzikale interventie.
